PRINTER COMPATIBILITY GUIDE

When it comes to loan contracts and forms printing from CHECKPRO or LOANPRO, not all Laser Printers are the same!

Important! Be sure to review our PRINTER COMPATIBILITY GUIDE prior to purchasing your laser contract printer for CHECKPRO or LOANPRO.

GOTO ASSIST REMOTE SUPPORT

In order to provide the most cost effective and fastest response time to resolve your computer issues and provide hands-on training, we now offer Remote Support via GoTo Assist. This allows us to remotely see and control your desktop while you observe everything we do.

Joining a remote support session will allow your V Systems, Inc. support specialist to view and control your computer screen for the duration of the remote support session only. By using remote support services, we are able to provide you with the most efficient solution possible for a fraction of the cost.

Remote support service is billed in 15-minute increments at $95.00/hour. Most issues are resolved within 30 minutes or less.

EPSON TMU-220 PRINTER DRIVERS

Epson TMU-220 APD_456E (Windows 10) USB Receipt Printer Driver

Epson TMU-220 APD_409aE (Windows 7 and 8 ∙ Vista ∙ XP SP2) USB Receipt Printer Driver.

*Notice: Prior to the USB version of the Epson TMU-220 receipt printers were the standard Parallel versions that did not require an Epson driver. If you still use one of the original parallel Epson TMU-220 receipt printers, use the "Generic/Text Only" driver provided by Microsoft via Windows Update.

WINDOWS REGISTRY SETTINGS

To map a drive to your Unix server via FacetWin, you must first install a registry fix to your computer. Click on your version of Windows below and select Run to install the fix. Once the fix is installed, you must re-boot your computer.

*Note: Due to security risks inherent with port 139, most ISP's do not forward port 139 traffic. In this case, you will not be able to map a drive to your Unix server over the internet.

CHECK IMAGE SCANNING

CheckScan was designed to work with the MagTek MICRImage scanner to produce scanned images of checks with MICR support. CheckScan requires the MICRImage scanner to be connected to your computer with the supplied serial cable. If your computer does not have a serial port, you may be able to use a USB to Serial port adapter cable.

NOTE: CheckScan was developed for Windows 98 and Windows Me and is only covered here for customers needing legacy support. CheckScan will not work with Windows XP or later, however MagTek released demo software that works with Windows XP. The demo software does not auto save the checks based on the MICR, but otherwise performs the same functionality as CheckScan does with older versions of Windows.

 You can still download CheckScan if you need this legacy (Windows 98 or Windows Me) software.

VSI WEDGE

VSI Wedge is a .NET 2.0 application that we wrote to stream the data input from older* Mini MICR USB Check Readers and wedge it through the keyboard input to be read by CHECKPRO and LOANPRO.

*Note: VSI Wedge is not needed for later plug and play Mini MICR USB Check Readers.

MagTek Mini MICR Legacy USB Check Reader Driver for early model USB check readers only. Later models are plug and play and do not require a driver.
